My gosh it's been a while since my last post. In fact, I removed my blog from the eyes of others with thoughts of never returning to it. But I digress....we are currently on the brink of a new year. Yes ladies and gentlemen, it's about to become 2010!
I must say I'm excited as I count down the last two hours of the year......I've certainly been blessed this year. I've learned a lot about myself in the past 365 days, and trust me when I tell you; I've learned to not lean to my own understanding but to that of God's. So many times this past year I've found myself regreting decisions that I've made and paths I've chosen. But in doing so, I had to realize that every decision I've made has essentially led me to who I am today (and I must say that ain't half bad). My relationship with Christ has certainly grown stronger and I've learned the true meaning of FAITH.....
The last decade of my life has been blessed to say the least~ I've transitioned into womanhood and have become educated on so many levels. I can only hope that the next decade exceeds all the desires of my heart. I pray that it's filled with laughter, love, family, friends and peace. I'm excited and prayerful that during the next decade I'm blessed with the opportunity of becoming a stable wife, mother, homeowner, writer, mentor, traveling connoisseur, employer, Ph.D and sister to additional friends and extended family members.
I trust that God is far from done with me and I pray that he continues to order my steps and keep me from harms way. Though I may not always understand, I'm willing to serve his purpose for my life and reap the benefits for doing so. I wish all of you a happy, prosperous and abundant new year~ May God continue to bless and keep you!
